After all preparations to proceed with my Education after leaving the primary School. The D-Day was finally brought to book, My Father had already done all the admission process and I was left to resume alone that day.

I wasn't punctual that day due to the fear of facing the new challenge ahead. The stories I heard about Secondary school left fears in my heart already.

"Hey you, Start running from there" ordered the duty prefect" Then I began to run with two other students along my side with my school bag held tight in my arms.

"JJC, go on your knees with your hands up and open your teeth, said the prefect.

The fear in me could not let me reply with words of pleads that were filled in my mind already.

But the look on my face showed I had something to say, then replied the prefect again, "Obey before complain".

We all did as he earlier commanded and were all punished with two strokes of canes and warned not to be late again.

Assembly was already closed so I went to meet the VP admin, and a class was assigned to me, getting to my arm- the Form Master was taking "roll call" the VP admin. walk in with me and all the pupils rose in order to salute him. He' introduced me to my Form master.

There after my record was taken and I joined the the class making it 67 pupils.

Different teachers took one lessons each which lasted for 45Minutes unlike the usual experience in primary school.

At about 10:15am the big bell rang and we all shouted "BREAK".... Usually the doings in primary school. Every one was in haste to get to the field, I had fun with the new friends I met at the playground and the memories of the Long break made my day till 02:30pm when the time keeper rang again for closing time.

And all the students walked in groups to leave for their various homes.
